Hello everybody, I`m here to tell you some of my ways of leveling up, although im only level 51, and some few tips for my fellow mage players.(all tips in the end)

Leveling

IMPORTANT: if you feel you are ready for tougher people and doesnt meet my standard level, dont sweat it, i just did what i did to level up so if you feel confident go right ahead.

Level 1-18

Ok, this is the main issue so lets cut to the chase. When you start go kill madbulls till your level 4-5, by that time, you should have pets of level 7-8, you should have gold for lighting. After you teach your pets lighting (to use lighting put it on a hotkey and let your pet blast the baddies:D) go and kill green giants till your level 10-14, any time you want go gnomes. By the way, buy thunder if your pets level 10, its better then lighting. Ok i you feel confident after 2 or 3 level, go kill dragonkins until your like level 18. After that you can go to mistymarsh.

PS; My friend rushed me through this so i dont know much about this part.

Level 18-30

This is tough so get any better spells or equipment as soon you are strong enough. Startoff with green devils and try not to be in melee range of their attack.once you are strong like about level 22-24, go kill eyeballs which is west of the green devils, after like level 25-27, go kill banshees which is south of the eyeballs. I never killed stayls (how you spelled them?) but you can if you feel too strong for banshees but too weak for orges. The orges are very strong so watch out for your pets, you should go there about level 30, by the way, i heard theres a good chance for a PdefMdef there, it might be a rumor but i got 2 PdefMdef from orges so i think theres a fair chance to get them.

After level 32, you can go to Gobi with less risk. By now you should have sneak and rage cause you will need them for the next thing.

Level 32-40

I trained in Gobi for a long time so ill try to fill this thing in with details. Use sneak you got and then try to go to the golems and keep sneaking till the xp skill comes out and use rage, that way no one will be able to hit you and you will gain a large amount of exp. When you are level 37, find a magic source if you didnt and go to the northeast corner to fight firedragons and get firepower. I suggest you pick any gold they drop cause they are around 2k each pile. get 15 firepower and get tornado. I think this spell was useless when it was levle 3 because it lagged up the entire game, but ill say its a good area spell. Now if you like for the next 3 levels train on golems and firedragons or go on the offensive and kill lizards, honestly i never encounter them.

Level 40-45

Actually, there was a void here because a friend of mine (mage) ask me to go to blackmarsh (way scary for level 60). I dont recommend there but you do level up 5 times in about 1-2 hours. If you go there, get an party of mage and go to the southwest corner and go through the portal, there sneak for your life and wait till xp. With 5 mages doing rage at 5 different spot, i can bet at the end you can get about 50% of your level bar. But be warned that if you ever reveal your self when not in rage mode, you are toasted ham. Btw beware pker, they are like level 70.

Level 45-51

This part, i went to dream oasis (new adventure zone) with some warrior friends and kill ghost knights and wyern cause it would be easier then dark marsh. Plus my warrior friends cant sneak so they cant go to dark marsh. I think a good tank is needed here because the ghostknights can slap you afar, oh and by the way you should have lighting about now so try to train on it. In here i used the old sneak and rage trick. But lata i was able to kill people with thunderbolt in one hit (xp skill, elven city grocery store), so i switched to that, its been kinda slow cause my weaker warrior friends want me and GenisisCaliber to plvl them there and they die too often.

I`m still level 51 so gimme like more time to level up before telling you good (for me anyways) training spots. btw most traing spots recommended by GenisisCaliber, darkraven, Choas_pengiun.

Tips

-fight boss to get stones

-dont think that because things are unique and stuff means that they are good, dont wear unique level 1 stuff cause thats useless.

-if you ever get an refined unique..... bring it to vivian for eudemon crystals, dont drop them or sell, eudemonscrystal is good.

-when you see red or black names, sneak or run, they can probably kill you and your pets.

-having an party with a warrior is a good idea because mages need tanks.

-stay away from pkers, they are gay (gasp i swore jk)

-buy new spells and let your eudemons level up their spells, like lighting when pets level 47
