One minute after they had settled in XP hit and they exploded out of the brush. Ryken fired two starswords cutting swaths into the ranks of the fishdemon. Ten fell, then twenty, then fifty bodies were piling higher and higher out of the corner of his eye he saw vios and reds laying everywhere enough to make him rich for a lifetime. But Ryken was determined not to let that sway him form his goal. Then he heard it the one thing he knew would stop him...

"Ryken help me!" shouted Katar.

"No time! We must kill the boss or the entire village will fall!" replied Ryken in anguish as he watched Katar fall under the blows of the fishdemon as his eudemon feebly tried to protect their master.

Turning towards his goal Ryken flew into a rage killing all the fishdemon that crossed his path. With XP gone he had no choice but to fight each monster that crossed his path. Finally he was face to face with the largest beast he had ever seen.

Easily five times his size the monster was like none he had ever seen anywhere. It`s gray armor like scales were razor sharp weapons unto themselves. It wielded a massive axe that was studded with teeth from some other gigantic oceandweller. As Ryken stared at it the beast turned and faced him gnashing its teeth and bellowing oaths at Ryken`s infringement into his territory.

    "Just who do you think you are? Coming into my territory attacking my army and standing up to me like you are something worth wasting my time on." the thing replied.

     "I am Ryken of the house of HaoLian and I am here to defend Islandtown or die trying!" Ryken said unflinchingly.

     "Ha! I have killed thousands of your kind and now that I am back I will kill thousands more! Entire armies could not stop me before my exile and I do not see an army here so what makes you think you can kill me now?" boasted the being.

     "Come on just a little longer...." muttered Ryken as he felt the power surge within him.

     "Huh? Speak up when you address me. Do you not know who I am! I am GreatShark king of all the oceandwellers! Now enough of this foolishness I have plans to make and you must die!" growled GreatShark gripping his axe tightly.

     "No its too soon. I need more time." thought Ryken as he scrabbled to coem up with another tactic he could stall with.

     "Its too soon he hasn`t hit xp yet." the stranger muttered. "I guess I could go help him I mean if he kills it then he might gimme some of the loot." The stranger slowly went down the hill and proceeded over to the clearing.

     "Wait!" shouted Ryken "I do remember you. As prentices our mentor Luc told us a story about how he had once seen a monster bigger than any other. He said it commanded armies of fishdemon just like you do. He also said that the strongest warriors and mages in the land drove the beast off and it hasn`t been seen since."

     "Yes that was me many years ago when I was young and foolish and before the ultimate masters killed the entire world and restarted it all due to the crime and corruption that had spread. But now I am back and there is no one to stop me. Now you will die. And I will finally take back my kingdom. from you filthy human scum."

     "Come on just a little more. If only I had another distraction." muttered Ryken. Then at the edge of the clearing fishdemon uttered howls of pain and suffering that could only be caused by one thing. Yes the spells of a mage. Ryken looked over just as A strange mage began slaughtering fishdemon right and left killing all those that stood it the way.

     "What is this? You have brought along a friend to watch you die? No matter I will kill you both!" roared GreatShark.

     "No you won`t! Because I will kill YOU GreatShark and your entire army with you!" screamed Ryken as a great firey halo erupted around him. He unleashed a starsword directly into GreatSharks midsection and howled with glee as it cut deep into the beasts scaley hide. The beast dropped to his knees in pain and began grabbing at his stomach as his intestines began to fall from his body.

     "It is you who will die today GreatShark. It is you who will never return to this place."

     As the behemoth turned and faced the sea, Ryken flipped his sword around and walked up behind him and quickly ended his life. From the monsters enormous leather pouch dropped a pair of boots, a helm and bracelets which Ryken quickly gathered up and put into his bag for later.

     "Congratulations. You have just killed the strongest creature in the world. What are you gonna do now?" said a mysterious voice.

     "Huh?" Ryken inquired as he turned around to face the speaker.

     "What are you going to do? Its a rather simple question what are you going to do? the feminie voice asked again.

     As he turned he realized he was facing the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. "Uh...I dunno I hadn`t really thought about it. I really didn`t think I was gonna survive actually."

     "What? Did I hear you correctly? You didn`t think you`d survive yet you came anyway? Thats pretty brave of you." the mysterious beauty said. "Well at any rate my name is XiaomuiZ. It`s nice to meet you."

     "Uhh my names Ryken. Thanks for saving me back there. I mean I didn`t think I could stall him any longer to get my xp. I thought I was gonna have to fight him and he was huge I mean...like giant..." rambled Ryken.

     "Ryken your rambling stop and your welcome. Now lets get out of here before anyone else gets here. I want you all to myself." she smiled seductively.

     Turning red Ryken began to follow Xiao but just then a large crash came through the undergrowth...
