Star Sage - Story

Introduction Story Skills

In the sky, a bright star suddenly appeared, then vanished in the blink of an eye.

Although most of the residents of the continent of Yartland didn't notice, the astrologers who observed the stars were immediately aware of this strange phenomenon. They pored through ancient texts all night but couldn't decipher the message hidden behind this anomaly, only knowing that it was related to ancient times.

The next morning, they gathered at the door of Mage Albert's residence, hoping that this wise elder, who was well-versed in ancient knowledge, could provide an answer.

"Master Albert, the star alignment last night left us confused. We've come today to seek your wisdom, hoping that your expertise in ancient lore can help us understand.

"Come inside. Let's talk inside." Albert said, not giving an answer immediately but inviting them into his home."

"That brilliant star was the former creation of the God of Creation - the dwelling place of the Star Sages." Albert said slowly, noting the astrologers' eager faces for an answer.

"Star Sages? What are they?" The astrologers asked, hearing a name they'd never encountered before."

"They were born by the will of the God of Creation, traveling through the cosmos to fend off evil..." Albert described the events of ancient times in his aged voice.

Although the astrologers had learned about the birth of the Star Sages, it didn't fully answer their confusion: "But what does the flickering of the star signify?"

"Ah, well... perhaps you should see for yourselves." Albert said as he gestured to the crystal ball on the table. The mist within began to fade, revealing a mysterious image.

The scene before them was the legendary Star Shrine, but the situation did not seem optimistic. Demonic creatures surged from the black mist, attacking the Star Sage. The astrologers couldn't help but hold their breath in worry. But this concern was quickly dispelled, as the Star Sage effortlessly used the celestial powers to destroy the creatures.

"It's not that simple!" Albert said, his expression serious as the astrologers' worries were finally eased.

Just then, the black mist obscured the view again, and the astrologers' hearts were once again in suspense. From within the mist, the clash of battle and the explosion of energy could be faintly seen. Even from merely viewing through the crystal ball, the contained power sent chills through them.

When the mist cleared once more, the enemy had disappeared, and the Star Sage looked up, as if locking eyes with the astrologers through the crystal ball. The Star Sage smiled, then entered a portal...

No one knew where the Star Sage was going, but one thing was certain: the Star Sage, born with the duty of protection, would appear in places where evil reigned, to suppress the evil!
