With powerful Luna Gems and Luna Jewels, you can make sockets on your equipment. Once the sockets are available, you can choose the appropriate gems to embed!
Among the gems that enhance BP/Attack/Defense, improve equipment durability, or raise EXP/Max HP, which one is your favorite?
The era of equipment prosperity has arrived! Let us all bask in the radiant glory of gems! Each socket will increase your BP by 1 point.
If you embed advanced gems in the sockets (even if they are not gems that increase BP), these advanced gems will also grant you an additional 1 point of battle power while realizing their original effects!
When your equipment has sockets, you can begin your journey to collect all kinds of gems.
There are now six major categories of gems available for embedding, with each category further divided into three qualities: Normal, Refined, and Super. You can obtain different gems by visiting the Shopping Mall, participating in various events, or hunting monsters. (Gems do not degrade and can be traded and stored normally. Gems not embedded in equipment may drop when you die.)

Gem Embedding:
When you open sockets for your equipment and collect desired gems, you can gain powerful strength with just two simple embedding steps.
Step 1: Talk to Charles (329,517) or directly access the equipment forging interface. Click on the gem embedding option and select the equipment you want to embed.
Step 2: Drag the gem you want to embed into the socket and click the embed button. The gem embedding process is now complete.

Gem Replacing
Since you can embed gems, it's also possible to replace them. However, due to the use of magical flames, removed gems will lose their effect and disappear (your weapon will not incur any losses). The gem replacement process is also conducted at Charles (329,517). Each replacement costs 100,000 Gold.
Step 1: Talk to Charles or directly access the equipment forging interface. Choose the gem you want to replace and drag it to the operation box (the brighter gem will be the new one in the socket), and then click the replace button.
Step 2: Gems are quite valuable, so make sure to confirm once again!

Gem Combining:
In addition to helping you with gem embedding and removal, Charles (329,517) can provide you with gem combining services, involving the combination of three types of items: Gems, Stones, and Animae. This allows you to combine multiple low-level gems into higher-level gems or create more potent equipment items.
Once you've gathered enough gem materials, you can begin the combining ceremony, with a 100% success rate!
Combining into a Refined Gem requires 10 Normal Gems as materials, while a Super Gem requires 30 Refined Gems.
Step 1: Talk to Charles and select "Combine".
Step 2: Choose the type of gem you want to combine.
Step 3: Select your final target.
Step 4: Done!
Alternatively, you can access the equipment forging interface and perform gem combining there.
If you don't have enough materials, you can use EPs to automatically purchase Normal or Refined gems for combining into higher-level gems.
