Do’s and Don’ts of Account Security

DON'T!

Never install or use outside programs that are made to "improve" your playing. Most of these programs will record your account name and password that you use to login, and will be sent to remote servers that are owned by others. As often is the case, those accounts will then be at the mercy of the hackers, ready to be stolen at anytime.

You shouldn't give your account information to unofficial websites or links that are not authorized by TQ, especially links claiming to give away free TQ Cards or items.

Never share your account information to others or share your account with others because it may bring unnecessary trouble or even make the account lost.

Never buy accounts or items from the other players! The one who sells the account to you may attempt to retrieve the account by claiming it was stolen and providing the original information. Sold accounts will be banned forever, once they are caught.

DO!

We strongly recommend you to only purchase items from the official item mall, or through normal trading in-game. Trades made for real money outside the game are not only against the rules, but extremely risky for the buyer and seller. If you are deceived by them, you won’t be able to ask the GMs for help in retrieving your item.

For security reasons, your account information (security question, security answer, ID number and password) should be complex and hard for others to guess. The harder you make it, the harder it will be for others to steal. Just make sure you remember it yourself, or write it down in a safe place!

Remember the original information of your account (security information, original registered email, first password and personal information you provided) and don't share them with others. The original information will help you get back your account quickly, should it ever be stolen.
