Dragon Roast Turkey!
All humans and monsters are welcomed to join our Thanksgiving celebration at the Gobbler`s Flagon Inn! Sure we`ve been killing each other for years, but lets put aside our differences for a few days and join in the festivities in peace!
We are giving all players a chance to roast the fabled Dragonroast Turkey, a difficult and perilous quest, which will take players through many quests, puzzles and battles. There are dragons to kill, riddles to solve and rewards to be claimed, plus the splendid humor of our new foreign quest writers! It`s a new experience for noobs and veterans.
The Crew
Amongst the legions of bar patrons, customers, monsters and challenges created for this quest, there is a host of central characters. These noteworthy personalities feature again and again in different stages of the main quest - to cook a Dragonroast Turkey. Check `em out!
Fotgruder: This short little green devil is the owner of the Gobbler`s Flagon. While he enjoys prattling about customers, he loves nothing more than brewing a good barrel of dragon blood ale. Now, if only he knew some brave adventurers to get him some dragon`s bloodĦ
Gapplydibbs: Although his name is hard to pronounce, he`s the most educated and civilized marsh satyr you`ll ever meet! He`s head chef and is always eager to help players roast turkeys. If you`re lost, make sure you ask him what`s the next step in your quest.
Brossulnurk: This dark and dangerous character has a vendetta against all humans. People say his entire tribe was killed by humans from Cronus, so it comes as no surprise. However, he also works as a butcher in the cellars of the Gobbler`s Flagon. He`s one tough nut, and caution is advised!
Fred: Born with a horrible speech impediment, it is no wonder the other dragons won`t befriend him. Unfortunately, he was the only dragon who volunteered for the job of turkey roaster. His lisp is already pretty bad, just pleaseĦ for the love of all that is goodĦ do NOT ask him to sing.
Background Story
Eight years ago, an unlikely trio of monsters, known as the Monsters Green, decided to give up their life of fighting and open an inn, the Gobbler`s Flagon, on the main road between Chronos City and Elven City. The green devil (Fotgruder), marsh satyr (Gapplydibbs) serpent demon (Brossulnurk) and green dragon (Fred) are a strange combo, but soon became popular because of their oddness. Recently, more and more people have been flocking to the inn.
The secret of their success lies in their most popular Dragonroast Turkey, which they cook once a year for Thanksgiving. It is said to be stewed in dragon blood ale, seasoned with different herbs and spices, flame grilled by real dragon breath, and served on a dragon scale plate! Obviously, the magical properties of this dish, and it`s price, are astounding!
Sales this year have skyrocketed as the Monsters Green announced that brave and daring adventurers will be able to participate in the complex turkey-roasting process! However, some say this is just a trick to feed human heroes to their captive dragons, rumored to live somewhere in the cellar below the inn.
