It was a warm sunny day in Cronus; the usual white doves could be seen perched peacefully on the church. The sky, a pale shade of blue made the day seems almost peaceful. I was doing my daily shop at the market.
I noticed the prices had been increasing lately on my usual items so I was hesitant weather or not I should buy all the stuff I needed encase the items became cheaper in the coming days. After I picked up my daily potions I headed towards the small town where I grew up in. It was a small fishing community, situated on the outskirts of Cronus. It only had a few houses, but it was home to me.
I came into my parent house to be greeted with the welcoming scent of my mums cooking. As a closed the door behind me, my mum came into the kitchen holding a white letter sealed with red wax. The look on her face suggested that she wasn`t happy about something and she seemed on edge. "What`s wrong" I asked her in a comforting voice. She just looked at me and handed me the letter.
"I want you to take this letter to your uncle in icy" she said in a worried voice.
"I don`t want you to have to go to that dangerous place, but you are the only one that can go there"
She moved over to one of the kitchen cupboards and brought out a paper bag with some food in it.
"I made this for you, its some food for the journey"
I knew that I had to go there, I had been there once before with my father but the memory was hazy. I thanked my mum and gave her a warm hug and we said goodbye to each other. I left straight away for the Teleporter to Eleven City. I would have paid the lady to take me to the island but I was poor after going shopping and I had not enough for the fee. As I left my village I looked back to see a glimpse of chimneys with great black plumes of smoke swirling high into the afternoon sky.
I was still an apprentice at the mages guild so I still had a lot to learn and my demons reflected this. My first demon was a fully evolved 5* MageAtkDef (Mad). It was a vibrant purple colour and had huge veiny muscles, it looked down at me and gave; what I thought was a nod of assurance. My second demon was a fully evolved 4* Pdef which was given to me for my birthday. It was small in comparison to my mad but I knew great power was hidden inside it. It sat there silently, showing not a hint of emotion, I knew it was ready for the journey.
With them by my side I knew I stood a chance. The Teleporter steward, whose name I had yet to find out told me to stay still so that she could transport me to Eleven. She waved her hands in the air and muttered ancient words under her breath, as she did so I felt a great warmth surround me as everything turned to a bright white then slowly cleared to reveal vibrant green trees interlaced with the brown of the wood that made up Eleven City. It was here my journey began, I knew I needed to get to icy via the hidden Teleporter which was situated west near the eyeballs.
I looked up at the sky and realised it was getting dull, I left town straight away and began my trek to the Teleporter......
