A young man by the name of Demangel had trained his whole life to become a warrior for the great kingdom of Yartland and to have his own Eudemon. He only saw Eudemon as pets or things to be used in war he never suspected them to share the same feelings as humans but some day that would change but that is still years down the line, today you will learn what it took for him to achieve his dream.

The day had come Demangel finally believed he was ready to take the test and prove himself a warrior.  He approached the castle ready for whatever he had to do.  The doors opened accepting his entry.  He walked through a great hall filled with pictures of legendary warriors, mages and their eudemon partners.

He was unsure where he should go or why he was let in, he made no announcement of his arrival for he did not know how to. 

As he wondered a soldier walked up to him "aww you must be the new recruit the Queen was talking about."

Demangel did not know what to say, there was no way the Queen could know he was there but if he said that the soldier may kill him. 

The soldier clearly seeing the confusion and fear on Demangels face said "don`t worry I mad no announcement that I was coming when I first came here either the Queen just seems to know things.  My name is Arrancar, the Queen has requested that I take you to her thrown room, she wishes to speak with you."

Demangel follows Arrancar "my name is Demangel, I came here to take the test and become a warrior like my mother and father before me."

"So your mother and father are both warriors what are their names I may know them."

"I doubt you would they died some 16 years ago shortly after I was born.  But their names where Derik and Tonya."

"I have heard of them they died in the battle against Risar it is a tragedy he escape but the wounds they dealt to him will not be forgotten."

"I plan on hunting Risar down and killing him myself as soon as I become a warrior."

"That would be impossible no one knows where he is and even if we did you are no match for him.  Did you see your parents pictures in the hall."

"No, but I have no time to look right now I will find them when I leave this castle a warrior."

"Well Demangel this is where we part for there is the door you must pass through and I am forbidden to follow you."

"Very well may me meet again."

Arrancar leaves Demangel to continue on his own.  As he passes through the door the shear size of the room he enters is astonishing.

He looks around and he spots the queen sitting on her throne she is in her late forty`s or early fifty`s fut looking at her you can still see the beauty that was once hers.  All around her where eudemon that Demangel had never seen before, but heard much about like Eudemon Austin, Flora, Adam, and Diana.  There were both types of dinos and every other eudemon there could be.

"What is it you have come here for young man?" Asks the Queen

"I have come here to request the right to take the test and become a warrior."

"Why is it you wish to become a warrior, surely you could find another less dangerous profession."

"Yes, I could but both of my parents were warriors but they died shortly after my birth in the battle against Risar."

"So, you are the son of Derik and Tonya.  I believe you also seek revenge against him."

"Yes, the one who killed my parents will meet his end at my sword."

"Well we do not allow everyone who wishes become a warrior it takes skill and dedication."

"I have dedicated my whole life to becoming a warrior of Yartland."

"Even if that is so you may not be ready to take the test.  You see so many people have died trying that I have instituted a pre-test to see if you can survive the real test."

"Very well I accept what ever the pre-test is I shall pass."

"Fine.  You Eudemon Austin fetch this boy a sword."

At being called a boy Demangel`s anger fumes, but he holds his tongue.

The Austin reappears moments latter bringing the blunt sword of a beginner along with it.

"Your pre-test will be a duel against me." Says the Queen.

Demangel is stunned for it is known through Yartland that the Queen is the greatest swords-man in the land.

"Do not worry I will not kill you, for my sword is as blunt as yours.  This is just to test your skills thats all."

Demangel accepts the sword and the Austin steps away.

"Be on your gaurd or this will be over quickly." says the Queen

The moment the words leave her mouth she goes on the attack moving much quicker than expected for someone of her age.  Demangel just manages to block her first attack.  But her second attack connects, sending Demangel sorring through the air only to fool to ground with a crashing thud.

He regains his footing and prepares to go on the attack.  As he runs forward the Queen smiles and shackles her head. 

"A straight on attack won`t work against me boy."

As he swings the Queen easily parrys the move and counters with one of her own cracking several of Demangels ribs.

"You could quit you know, you don`t want to have to buy to many potions to heal those wounds do you?"

Demangel says pantingly "No, I won`t quit I chose to take this test and I will pass."

The Queen shrugs and continues with her attacks.  Demangel does his best to block the attacks, but the more he tries the worst his wounds get.  The battle finally comes to an end when the Queen connects to the back of Demangels neck knocking him unconscious.

"He put up quit a fight I think he is ready for the test but first his wounds must heal.  Someone fetch me 2 potions for him and one for myself."

When Demangel comes to three days have passed he finds himself in the hospital wing of the castle.  There is a note on the table next to his bed it reads as the following:  "Your test will be to go into the wild and kill 40 madbulls and bring me back their heads any items they drop are yours to keep.

Demangel knows compared to what he went through this should be easy.

The next day he leaves the hospital with a new sword.  He enters the wild and slaughters 39 of his 40 madbulls when he finds his 40th one he can tell something is different about. Its movements are quicker than a normal madbulls and its strength is amazingly higher. 

Demangel realizes this must be one of the ancient ones that he has heard of in legends he is unsure if his strength is enough to defeat it. 

The battle is brutal and eventually begins to take its toll on them both.  Pieces of Demangels flesh begin to be torn away finally he manages to remove one of the beast arms but it continues to fight biting and tearing.  It swings its mighty fist down shattering Demangels left shoulder.  Demangel now has an opening that the beast is more than willing to exploit.  It makes a fatal mistake though as it Demangel jumps to avoid one of its attacks it turns and sinks its teeth deep into his left side and no matter how hard he tries he can not shake it loose so he turns his sword and jabs it four times through the beast back finally he feels its body go limp and its great jaws release him he severs its head and begins to stumble back picking up a purple stone the beast dropped during the battle. He gets within sight of Cronus before he finally collapses from his wounds the last thing he hears is  "oh my god, someone get the pharmacist quick or this boy will die."

He comes to he has no idea how long its been all he knows is there are two Warrior Attack Defenses by his side with new armor and a not that says:  I congratulate you on becoming a warrior these two eudemon will help you in battle and be closes allies.
