Dante?s Second Awakening

Part 1

Made up for the next chapter of DevilMayCry

Well��. its a whole different story but I wanted it to be creative and put them together.

Chapter 1

I don`t know how long its been. It seems as if a lifetime. The last thing I remember is fighting with my brother. Then everything went blank. I didn`t remember the next chapter and I awoke smelling a weird smell I never smelled before. A stench of bad beer perhaps. I was half awake anyways but I could sense that a person was walking up to me. Opening half an eye, I saw a wand pointing at me. I tried opening my eyes and standing up, but I couldn`t.

Waiting, waiting... I don`t know how long it has been since I last smelled the smell of beer or tasted the taste of pizza. I remember defeating my brother and I wanted peace with him but he was greedy with power and he would rather plung over the cliff in the demon world than live in peace with me.

The morning when I awoke,  was strange and scary at the same time. Since I`m a demon, I know the different kinds of demons that roam the cities but this was far different than what I ever saw. these fish looking creatures came up to me and they looked like they were going to pounce on me. I was too weak to move so I tried screaming at the monsters to get away but they wouldn`t. I was waiting for something to happen but nothing did. The next moment, I saw a guy and he was dressed in a strange manner. He had a wand, a cloak, a... I didn`t know what other things he was wearing, and what he did surprised me. In a manner of seconds, he struck 5 of the creatures around me with something that looked like magic. Then, when one of the big creatures was about to attack, he went invisible and...what he did was incredible. I didn`t really see him but I saw something that looked like spirit particles. It was a thing my mom called as the spirit`s who leave the demon`s body when it gets destroyed. The spirit particles I assumed, was that mist flowing in the air and then it vanished. The creature then died and the strange man reappeared. After, a new sight appeared before my eyes. It looked like a pig but he didn?t care because from what he saw, that mysterious man saved him.

"Hello?" said that man browsing over Dante, "who are you and what business do you have here?"

Dante tried asking where he was but his words turned into a croak. "Very well, I will bring you back to the village and see what I can do with your injuries. My name is balthier and from my looks, you seem like a useful man for chores. Who knows? We might become best of friends. "

Balthier cast a spell which aloud him to stand on the air. Dante, intrigued, closed his eyes and let the magic carry him to safety. He didn`t know what he was going to find there. From what he already saw, he thought anything seemed possible and he felt like he was in some kind of fairytale.
